The arrival of wholesale cell phones has made this state-of-the-art telecommunication method inexpensive, easily obtainable and by now, omnipresent. That popularity requires attention to the question of cell phone manners: what are the rules for allowable cell phone usage? Here are three guidelines for making wholesale cell phone usage courteous and thoughtful of others.
First, do not answer a cell phone in the course of a chat with another human being or in an assembly of folks. Although some people, especially young people, have a great level of patience for performing multiple tasks, being interrupted, and redirecting attention from the folks they are talking to, in ordinary business-like and social settings, responding to a cell phone and disrupting the immediate discussion is unmannerly. Cell phone wholesalers offer models of the product with various options that can ameliorate the problem: chose a cell phone and a service that can record messages; make sure you have caller i.d. and a way to keep track of "missed calls"; and be able to mute the sound so you can ignore it. And don't think that texting is all right because it is quiet - you are still being discourteous about the live conversation that you are having.
Two, dial down the volume. What is it about cell phones that lets folks think they can or have to be so loud? The rest of the patrons of the cafe or library or shoe store just do not want to overhear your chat about your symptons of flu or horrible blind dates. Even if you utilize a less expensive wholesale cell phone, that doesn't mean you are burdened by substandard sound quality - to the contrary, your caller will hear you just fine and if not, give up and make the call from a new place or at some other time where signal and sound quality are better.
Three, don't use your cell phone when you are required to attend carefully to some other activity. What is more provoking than standing in a drug store check-out line while somebody in front of you fumbles with their merchandise, pauses, and pays no attention to the clerk because they are conversing on their cell phone or texting like crazy? Also, the whole question of utilizing a cell phone while driving a car is contentious, but cell phone wholesalers suggest at least the use of a hands-free set while in a vehicle or engaged in other tasks that ideally require use of two hands and focused concentration.
Cell phone etiquette is really a matter of good sense. Talk and text with your cell phone in appropriate situations and with utmost regard for privacy and the concerns of others. Then you can enjoy the advantages of this exceptional electronic marvel, without feeling guilty!
